• Bula and welcome to Zing Fiji Ginger. We are one of the world’s leading suppliers of ginger. In 2005 Zing Fiji Ginger began producing safe and good quality ginger. Our first consignment was exported in 2006. The current factory was built in 2009 stands on the bank of the beautiful Navua River with close proximity to Fiji’s capital city, Suva.
  • Zing Fiji Ginger is a family oriented ginger processing company offering a range of quality ginger products including crystallised, pureed, glace, and juice.
  • Zing Fiji Ginger was founded by Managing Director, Kaiming Qiu, also known as Calvin Qiu. Calvin first came to Fiji from China in 1997 and saw great potential for the development of ginger processing.
  • Zing Fiji Ginger could not have achieved all it has today without the assistance and support of the European Union, which funded a number of agricultural projects implemented by the Pacific Community (SPC). These projects provided much needed technical support, marketing, certification and processing equipment.
  • The second benefactor is the Government of Fiji which facilitated the granting of bank loans for the construction of the processing and packing plant.
  • Our ginger is sourced from small farmers all over Fiji whose livelihoods depend on having a market for their produce. The income they earn by supplying us with ginger is a significant contributor to the wellbeing of their families and also the upkeep of their rural communities. Zing Fiji Ginger provides employment to over 100 people who are mostly from close rural communities and we are very proud of our low staff turnover (2%) and modern worker-friendly environment.
